About Us

'Country Shows' is operated by David and Narelle from Brisbane,
Australia.
The web site was inspired by our experiences over the past few years when we wanted
to take weekend breaks to some interesting country towns, and sometimes tie this
in with the local Show for added interest. Even in the era of "Google", we found
it difficult to find out what shows were on when.

The photos show David's pride and joy - his Suzuki 1200 'bandit' on a trip to Tenterfield
where we enjoyed the sheep dog trials (luckily no dogs were found guilty). We continue
to enjoy many trips together on this wonderful machine, although Narelle keeps asking
about getting a more comfortable seat!
